LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL

A gentle Jewish-Italian waiter named Guido wins over a pretty schoolteacher with his humor and charm. Following a fairytale marriage and the birth of their son, their happiness is abruptly halted when German forces occupy 1930s Italy. Determined to shelter his son from the horrors of concentration camp, Guido convinces him their time in the camp is merely a game.
